An awesome gadget for Kite Aerial Photographer's who are trying to get a sense of where their camera and kite are flying in relationship to the subjects they're trying to photograph.
Mode 0 works like a standard range finder.
Mode 1 will tell you horizontal distance between you and the foot of your subject or the point on the ground directly below your camera.
Mode 4 is a simple clinometer.

For what it does, this is an inexpensive tool! Not only can i use this for work (does height in feet) but also for bow hunting (horizontal range). this rangefinder is more accurate than the specs. not to mention that it's very easy to use & the red dot works so much better than cross hairs and you can see it in dim light.
