The distance this rangefinder will read depends on: lighting, weather, target size, angle inclination, hand steadiness and clarity of the path to the target. Practicing with your rangefinder will allow for more accurate readings. This unit projects an eye safe laser to the target, which bounces back to the sending unit, and within milli-seconds the distance reading is displayed. Your reading will be displayed in yards or meters, depending upon the setting chosen.
