5 out of 5 stars Great Product!   March 7, 2010

You get quick accurate measurements to the pin and other object like green side bunkers. There is no need to download different golf courses, you can use the Bushnell 1600 on any golf course. I received advice on what to buy from caddies who loop for PGA tour players and this is what they all use. Just go to a PGA tournament practice round and watch how the caddies check yardage and what they are using. It is also great on the practice range because it helps me know exactly how far I am hitting each club in by bag. It was easier to hold steady when getting yardages than I imagined. Great product and I am very pleased with my decision.

I have now owned two of these rangefinders: not because they work so well, but because the first one was defective and I had to return it. The second one (a replacement) arrived today, and it will not power up so that I can test it to see if it is more accurate than the first (off by 5 yards). I am completely frustrated by and absolutely furious with Bushnell for selling this lousy product. I'm getting my money back and buying a Calloway!

5 out of 5 stars Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Laser   February 16, 2010

I purchased this product because one of my friends had one. I had the Sky Caddie but thought the 1600 could serve several purposes (on the course and at the range). I also thought it would provide me with immediate feedback on position and obstacles. I used it during a round and was not disappointed. Not only did I get the exact readings on yardage, it gave me confidence when trying to avoid hazards as I knew what club to pick for the right trajectory to get around, below, or above them based on the distance. Sky Caddie, in my opinion, just did not provide the same type of information to me on demand. I would recommend this product to anyone asking.

5 out of 5 stars Very accurate and powerful.   February 16, 2010

I bought this over the tour model because of the waterproof design and 7x power. I have spotted the pin from 200+ yards and even with normal shaking it picks out the flag without any problem. I love the waterproofing as I lay it down on the grass and when it is humid or raining I don't worry about it fogging. It is a little bigger than the tour version but it doesn't bother me as I need 2 hands to keep it steady anyway. Great product.

I ordered this as a bundle on Amazon. It was shipped to me as a GPS instead of a laser rangefinder. Even though they let me return the item and they will not send me the product I ordered, I felt cheated. Not for the bundle prices I would not place the order to buy any of these. Amazon is not trustworthy on the bundle sales. This vendor does not know what they are selling on Amazon or something else.
