From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew--based on a promise of quality--to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland to repair surveying equipment. What you see isn't what you get May 28, 2009

The product photo is not of this product. The photo would infer three screws (one to clamp the lower ring to a base, plus two to secure the upper ring to the lower ring). What you get is the vertically split type (two screws only) that must be simultaneously tightened onto the base while also tightening onto the scope.
