Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It's been almost two decades since Brunton developed one of the first rangefinders on the market. Nowadays, the technology is much improved. The EchoTM Rangefinder is a testament to how far we've come, literally. Measure distance with one yard accuracy all the way down to 15 yards and out to 440 yards.

I was looking for a decenter rangefinder at a bargain price - and I happen to love Mossy Oak Camo, so this fit my requirements for my hubby's Christmas present. He has already used it for deer hunting and likes it a lot.

4 out of 5 stars Works good for me   December 11, 2009

This is not a high end unit so if you are looking for a high tech, feature packed device, you will be disappointed. In the instruction book it said not to press both control buttons at once because it will malfunction. Other users reported doing this will lock it up and the battery will need to be momentarily removed to resolve it. I solved the problem by placing a piece of thick camo moleskin with a hole cut in it over the mode button. This makes pressing this button a intentional task.

It has rain mode and long distance mode in addition to the standard laser ranging mode. Operation is quick and simple. Press the button once to turn on and again to range. Readings are instant. I like that the unit is small enough to fit perfectly in a shirt pocket. Considering the next higher choice in a camo range finder is almost $100 more, this is a good deal
