Ideal for traveling golfers, the full-featured SkyCaddie SG3 Golf GPS has a durable, water-resistant shell for playing in all conditions and is powered by 2 AA batteries--which eliminates the need for carrying chargers and cables while traveling. It's also equipped with the patented IntelliGreen technology, enabling golfers to measure the full depth and shape of the green from any angle of approach, both on or off the fairway. Part of SkyCaddie's exclusive, professional 4-Star SkyCourses, IntelliGreen graphics provide an eagle's eye view of the green with an indicator representing a direct line-of-play from wherever you are on the course.

The SkyCaddie SG3 offers a high-performance GPS receiver with a satellite-based augmentation system for accuracy. Other features include a programmable memory module to store thousands of targets, auto-hole advance, large grayscale LCD display, built-in atomic time, and up to 12 hours of continuous use from two AA batteries.

With an annual SkyPlayer Club Membership Plan (not included with purchase of device), you can easily download thousands of our professionally enabled SkyCourses. Three different levels of memberships are available, based on how many courses you want to store and play. If you do not want a membership and your course is not already available, you can record the front, center and back of each green with your SkyCaddie's quick set-up module, which takes about 10 seconds.

    Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can the SG3 give me the distance to the pin?
A: The SkyCaddie, using the IntelliGreen graphics found on our professionally recorded SkyCourses, provides more information than just the distance to the pin. Once the line of play is selected on the graphical green outline, it provides the minimum carry to get on the green, the maximum limit you have to the back of the green, plus you can adjust to obtain the third distance of the approximate flag location. All three distances are provided simultaneously from any direction as you approach the green. You can then frame your shot in a much larger target area and select the best club. You will hit more greens and have shorter putts than a single number can provide.

1 out of 5 stars poor support   May 14, 2010
    laser user now (virginia)
I have been on hold for them for over 45 minutes and had to hang up. My SG4 has been sent back twice and they still can't fix it. They neither support their products well or care about their customers. With so many other products on the market why waste your money.

2 out of 5 stars Not Good   February 26, 2010
    WPE (Little Rock, AR, US)
I've had 3 of these GPS units. the first lasted a little over a year and got where the batteries wouldn't last but 9 holes. I sent it back and SkyGolf sent me a new unit, free. The second unit lasted a month and I had the same problem as I had with the first unit. I sent it back and got the third unit and it didn't make it thru the first round. I tried regular batteries, alkaline batteries, and rechargable batteries all from several manufacturers and nothing helped. On occasions the batteries showed discharged when I put them in the unit. Customer service was cordial and tried, but the design or manufacturing is bad. Customer Service offered to upgrade me to a reconditioned SG5 for $225, but I can get a Callaway UPRO for $299, free shipping, and no annual fees.

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Order!   January 23, 2010
    J. MCCOY
We where never able to activate this unit and a call to Skycaddie's so called customer support was no help at all, they acted like it was a bother and we were told - "don't send it back to us!" However, Gurugolf responded with a quick and satisfactory return and refund. We will not hestitate to order from them again, just NOT A SKYCADDY.

    1 out of 5 stars Don't buy it!   November 2, 2009
    G. Young (North Carolina)
I have had the SG3 for 2 years. The first 2 months it worked great, after that it gives inaccurate yardage. SkyCaddie support was no help and said I needed a new unit! SkyCaddie does not stand behind their products. Don't waist your money on a Sky Golf(SkyCaddie)GPS!!!!

    4 out of 5 stars Great Value/Very Useful   August 19, 2009
    LarryK2712 (Dayton, OH)
Purchased the SG3 several weeks ago. I am very pleased with it. The set up was a little confusing since you have to start out on a web site to update the software (initially I could not get it to recognize my unit), but the customer support was very responsive and helpful. At the current pricing (I got it for $150) it is an outstanding value. I love having it at the course I belong to and new courses I play. It does everything it is supposed to do very well.
